Usui Reiki healing is an ancient healing art rooted in the truth that our bodies are made up of energy or Chi. By summoning energy from the universe the Usui Reiki Master Teacher channels positively charged energy into the patient, thereby feeding energy into the body, displacing any negative, stuck, disharmonious, sluggish energy with positive, renewed, increased, optimized, healthy energy, which in turn makes you feel charged and renewed.  The healing power of Usui Reiki heals on the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual level. Reiki is a very subtle energy and when experienced, some people may feel nothing at all while others may experience a tingling in the hands or feet. It took me a couple years to actually begin to feel anything myself.  With Reiki, faith is the key. Your sensitivity to your own energy body will be the deciding factor. It is the best gift you could ever give yourself.  At the least you will experience an extremely relaxing, peaceful, calming, healing experience while the energy works within you to heal whatever needs attending to. A Reiki treatment can be given in person or via distance healing as well, so it is completely possible to give and receive Reiki from great distances.   The energy will continue to work within you for the days and weeks to come.

A Reiki treatment usually last about 90 minutes.

Types of Sessions: Treatment or Training

I offer two types of Reiki services:  A Reiki Healing Treatment and Reiki Healing Training. Reiki can be given as a treatment by me to you, where I channel energy into you, or I can empower you with Reiki by teaching and attuning you to channel Reiki to heal yourself, your loved ones, pets,  others and any given situation.

Treatment

For a Reiki treatment, we’ll establish a rapport and discuss your personal requests/issues which brought you to me. The treatment can be given in person or over the phone via distance healing, which is just as profound as an in person treatment.   Once established and when you’re ready, I’ll ask you to lie on a massage table or if being given via a distance treatment, wherever you are comfortable, fully clothed if in person, a sheet or blanket will be provided.

Candles are lit and aromatherapy is used during the session. Healing music therapy is also used.  My goal is to provide an extremely relaxing, comfortable, calming environment and space to promote healing within you.

I will begin to act as a straw, drawing the Universal Life Force through my crown chakra down and out through my hands and into your body. No physical contact is made, unless the recipient wishes to use the hands on method...all services are completely professional at all times. I work with your energy system, your chakras and meridians to feed energy into your body.

Depending upon your sensitivity to your own energy body, each treatment will be a unique experience. Some clients speak of experiencing warmth coming from the practitioner’s hands, others speak of a tingling sensations, others an extremely relaxing, calming, healing feeling  overcoming them.  The experience is really unique to each client. Whether intense feelings are experienced or not much at all, healing is taking place within your body in whatever way, shape or form is to your best interest.  At minimum you will be extremely relaxed and experience an overall sense of peace and well being within.

Training

I offer the teachings of the Usui method of Reiki, which is defined by its use of energy, symbols, and the attunement process. There are several levels of Reiki to learn and channel. With each level of Reiki attained, your channel of Reiki (Life Force Energy/Chi) becomes stronger, raising your own vibrational frequency level. You then are empowered to channel the Reiki energy to yourself, your loved ones, pets and to any given situation. The Life Force Energy does not come from the person, it comes from the universe, and so the person is just a channel for the energy to flow through like a straw. Anyone can learn Reiki. All that is required is the will to want to learn and become attuned.  Reiki is the best gift you could give to yourself and others.  Once attuned, it is with you for the rest of your life.

My Usui Reiki training classes last five hours depending upon the number of students per class. I offer one on one training or small groups.

Reiki I

In the Reiki 1 training class you will learn all about Reiki and your energy system, also known as your energy bodies, the 50% of your being that is invisible but truly affects your state of health.  You will learn how the two work together to bring you optimum health on all levels, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. Plus you will receive one attunement to connect you to the source and calibrate you to channel the Life Force Energy of Reiki. The attunement increases your own Chi system vibration, (energy system) and stimulates personal healing on all levels.  With each class level you attain and each attunement you receive, your vibrational energy frequency ascends. You will experience an increase in your own energy and stamina levels by 7 fold. An attunement actually restructures your DNA allowing your flow of Life Force Energy to increase permanently for the rest of your life.

With Reiki 1 level training you will hold the ability to channel Reiki for yourself or others. Once you have completed this class you hold the ability to practice as a Reiki practitioner and perform Reiki treatments on others. You will have the ability to create a healing business for yourself, you will receive a certificate for each course. Reiki II

In this class you will receive additional training plus another Reiki attunement, which again, significantly increases the amount of Life Force Energy you can carry and channel up by 49 times the power!! You will experience an increase in your own energy vibrational frequency and energy levels. You will learn the three Reiki symbols and how they are used in addition to how to distance heal over time and space!  At this level you can give a more encompassing, complex and effective Reiki treatment. You must complete the Reiki I class before taking Reiki II.

Reiki III – Master Teacher

At the Master Teacher level you will again receive training and another attunement that significantly increases the amount of Life Force Energy you will carry and channel. You will experience an increase in your own energy vibrational frequency and energy levels by 343 times the power!! In this course, you will be given the Master Teacher symbol, empowering you to teach Reiki and perform an attunement on others. Reiki I and II (listed above) are prerequisites for this course.
